Your practice test should include the following elements:

  • A total of 20 questions;
  • 5 questions referencing Topic 1: Relations and Functions;
  • 5 questions referencing Topic 2: Zeros and Intercepts;
  • 5 questions referencing Topic 3: Finding Function Values for Elements of the Domain;
  • 5 questions of your choice from any of the three topics in this module;
  • You may not use any examples or problems already included in this module; and
  • Each question you include must be accompanied by a completely worked solution and explanation in your own words.

Before you begin, access the Practice Test Checklist to make sure you include all of the items required for full credit.

Reflection

After you have completed the assignment above, take a moment to reflect on the following questions. Respond to each of these questions in a brief four to five sentence paragraph.

  • How can creating a practice test, even when it is not assigned, be helpful in any subject?
  • What is the value of creating a practice test at the end of every topic, not just the end of a module or course?
