Module 6 Overview
If you drop a ball from a height of 60 feet, how long will it take to hit the ground? How much distance do you need to brake if you are traveling at a certain speed? Situations like this can be modeled with quadratic functions.

In this unit, we will continue looking at polynomials, particularly focusing on quadratic models in various forms. We will learn about a new set of numbers called imaginary numbers, learn how to simplify complex numbers, and solve quadratic equations by extracting square roots and completing the square. We will finish the unit by using quadratic models to solve real-life problems and applying the best technique to solve various quadratic equations.
