Introduction to Topic 6.1 - Forms of a Quadratic Function and Finding Zeros
We will continue our study of polynomials by examining the general form quadratic equation, and learning the equivalent forms of the vertex form and the factored form. Using these equivalent forms, we will discuss how to use various pieces of information about a parabola to determine the general quadratic model for the parabola.
Essential Question: How would you choose which form is appropriate to find a general model for a quadratic function?
