Now that you have studied all of the important components of the Solar System, it is time for you to show how much you know about all of these celestial bodies. For this assignment, you get to design your own project to demonstrate your knowledge about the Solar System. In your project you must include information or references to the Sun, the eight planets, Earth's Moon, one dwarf planet, and one other member of the Solar System. You will begin by coming up with an idea for your project. Provided below are a few examples of project ideas. You may use one of these ideas, or create your project.
Next, you will need to get approval from your instructor using the Solar System Project Proposal Template. On this template, you will be asked to complete the following questions.
Once you have completed your Solar System Project Proposal, please submit it to the dropbox. Before you move forward with your project, please wait for approval from your instructor.
After you have received approval from your instructor, it is time to complete your project based on your responses in the Solar System Project Proposal Template. No matter which project you choose, you will need to make sure that the information conveyed through your project is accurate, that your project is organized and well-designed, and that it is free from spelling or grammar errors.
Before you begin the project process, access the Solar System Project Rubric to make sure you have included all of the needed items required for full credit.
