Module 3: Une journée à l’école
Now that you have studied your course schedule, school supplies, and technology, it is time for you to show how much you know about all of this new French vocabulary. For this assignment, you will draw a classroom map including the supplies and pieces of important technology. Your classroom map must include labels that are written in French and agree in gender (masc/fem) and number (sing/plur).
You will begin by drawing your classroom map. Include the furniture in the classroom, the chalkboard, and the teacher’s desk. Then, draw in at least ten different supplies or examples of technology. You may place the supplies throughout the classroom. It may be helpful to use the Sketchpad web-based application from SKETCH.IO™ to create and label your classroom map.
Before you begin, access the Classroom Map Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit. If resources outside of this course are used to complete this assignment, please submit a Works Cited document. If you need assistance, visit the Developmental Module for information on citing any resources that you used.
Options to create your classroom map include the following:
- Create your labeled classroom map by hand and then take pictures of it for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.
- Create your labeled classroom map by hand and then scan it for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.
- Create a new file in a paint or graphics program and utilize the software to create the labeled classroom map. You can then submit your work to the assignment’s dropbox.
- Use a mobile or computer-based application to create your labeled classroom map and email or export the final product for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.
Once you have completed your labeled classroom map, please submit your assignment to the dropbox.
