Module 5: Au restaurant

Authentic AssessmentComic Strip Speech BubblesAs you learned in this module, comic strips are quite popular in the country of Belgium. The Adventures of Tintin and The Adventures of Astérix both first appeared as a Franco-Belgian publication, and were internationally recognized comics during the 20th century.

Now that you have learned how to order in a restaurant, create a comic strip that demonstrates this scenario. Your comic strip should include a minimum of three characters: one server and two customers. Begin with the customers sitting at the table, and end with the customers paying and saying goodbye. In addition, include at least six panels that are organized so a reader can understand the events unfolding in the comic. Ensure your text is written legibly in French.

Before you begin, access the Restaurant Comic Strip Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit.
