Triangle Congruence: ASA and AAS
Congruent triangles are the same shape and the same size. This is because they have congruent corresponding sides and congruent corresponding angles. In this topic, you learned two methods to prove that triangles are congruent. The ASA Postulate says that two angles and the included side are congruent to two congruent corresponding angles and the congruent corresponding included side of another triangle. The AAS Theorem is very similar to the ASA Postulate, except it says that two angles and a non-included side are congruent to two corresponding congruent angles and the congruent corresponding non-included side of another triangle.
