Module Overview
Right Triangles

hand drawing a right triangle Acute, obtuse, right. Scalene or isosceles. Equilateral and equiangular.

You have explored the attributes of many different types of triangles. In this module, you will delve deeper into right triangles. You will apply the Pythagorean Theorem to determine a triangles type, and you will also study the attributes of two special right triangles: a 45°-45°-90° and a 30°-60°-90°. In addition, you will begin your study of trigonometry, the branch of mathematics that studies the relationships involving side lengths and angles of a right triangle.
