Roadside Assistance

Changing a tire
If you look in the trunk of an automobile or underneath, there is a good chance you will find a spare tire. Vehicles include this spare tire because no matter how well you care for the car, there is always a chance you could get a flat. Much like your car, you also need to be prepared to handle certain situations. In this module, you will learn how to administer first aid, avoid injury, manage a crisis, and resolve conflict. These skills will benefit you and allow you to assist others during an emergency.

Getting Started

Getting StartedBefore you begin, take some time to consider the following questions. Have you ever been involved in an emergency or conflict? How did you respond? Do you feel you were prepared to handle this situation? What could you have done to be better prepared? Based on your experience, do you believe you will be able to resolve similar emergencies and/or conflicts in the future?
