Lifelong health and wellness can help you enjoy life to the fullest. It takes knowledge and dedication to maintain optimum health, but you have learned many of the skills needed to stay fit and active. In this module, you will continue your health journey by exploring daily nutrition regarding amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and other important nutrients. You will understand the important balance among energy (in the form of calories), sleep, and physical activity. In addition, you will learn how to maintain healthy organs and avoid health problems related to different types of cancer. By the end of this module, you will be ready to assess the accuracy of health claims made by health and wellness products as you review scientific research studies on nutrition.
