Module Overview

Australia and the Pacific Islands

Australia and the Pacific Islands are very different. As you travel through the region, you will meet the majority of Australia’s population along coastlines. This is where the climate is more favorable. Thousands of islands exist in the Pacific Islands. However, you will stick to the main sub-regions of Micronesia, Polynesia, and Melanesia. Unlike Australia’s flat topography, the Pacific Islands have many mountains and a tropical climate.
