GEOTREX Digital Postcards

For this assignment, GEOTREX wants you to design three digital postcards. The digital postcards should feature the physical geography of Russia and Central Asia. As you know, traditional postcards are sent through snail mail. Digital postcards, however, are sent through email, text, or social media.

Each of your digital postcards must feature a landform, water feature, physical region, or climate region of Russia and Central Asia. Please include the following information on your digital postcards:

Front

• At least one image relevant to the topic (hand drawn or found on the Internet).
• Labels for each image.

Back

• A three-to-five sentence letter to GEOTREX followers citing at least two facts about the image(s).

Your digital postcard should entice people to travel to or learn more about Russia and Central Asia. Take a moment to examine the digital postcard example provided on this page. Keep in mind that your design can look different.

Before you begin, access, the GEOTREX Digital Postcards Checklist to be sure you include all items required for full credit. You may need to use resources outside of this course to complete this assignment. If so, please submit a Works Cited document.
