Ancient India Podcast

This seal of a Pashupati (Lord of Animals), discovered in the
Indus River Valley is believed to be of a Shiva, a Hindu deity
Imagine that a new exhibit is opening in the World Civilizations Museum, which focuses on the history of India. Consequently, you have received an invitation to create a 3-5 minute podcast that patrons can listen to as they view the artifacts. In order to compliment the exhibit, your podcast needs to cover important facts about India's geographic features, the accomplishments of the Gupta and Mauryan Empires, and the beliefs of Hinduism and Buddhism.
Include the following in your podcast:
- Five geographic features of India (including the Indus River);
- Three accomplishments of the Mauryan Empire;
- Three accomplishments of the Gupta Empire;
- Three facts about the history and beliefs of Buddhism; and
- Three facts about the history and beliefs of Hinduism.
Your podcast should be well-organized, creative, and interesting. Instead of simply presenting the information, weave the facts together to tell a "story" about India's history. In addition to your audio file, submit a transcript of your podcast. Use the audio recording information found in the Submitting Assignments link on the Student Resources section to help you create the podcast.
