Middle Ages Magazine Cover

Pretend you are the creative director for an online magazine that features information about the Middle Ages. In this role, you must create a magazine cover concept and graphic design layout for each issue. To successfully complete this assignment, you need to select the type of magazine you want to represent. This may include, but is not limited to, a fashion, cooking, news, or travel magazine. Since this is a magazine cover, include historical pictures and original headlines that represent the Middle Ages, and grab your audience's attention so they want to buy the issue. Consider including topics like the following:
- Individual migratory groups (Angels, Saxons, Magyars, and Vikings)
- Charlemagne
- Charles Martel
- Clovis I
- Events in the spread of Christianity
- Feudalism
- The role of the Church
At minimum, please include the following in your magazine cover:
- Masthead (magazine title)
- Dateline (date of the issue)
- Selling line (magazine's motto)
- Main image (the largest image on the cover that represents the featured article)
- Two cover lines with images (highlights other magazine articles that may appeal to your readers)
- Selling price of the magazine, which represents the Middle Ages time period economy
Keep in mind that your magazine cover summarizes the contents inside of the issue. Consider looking at covers of modern-day magazines to help you visualize and organize your Middle Ages magazine cover.
