Martin LutherAssessment icon.In modern times, many people and organizations use social networking tools to communicate their messages and to attract people to their causes. These social networking tools allow people to show basic profile information, make timely comments, and display their affiliations with other people or groups. If Martin Luther was alive today, surely he would have used this powerful tool to let people know about the Protestant Reformation and his 95 Theses. What do you think he would have included on his profile page? For this assignment, you should create a social networking profile page for Martin Luther. Your page should include the following items:

  • Martin Luther's name, place of birth, and date of birth
  • A list of three to five friends or colleagues that he might link to from his page
  • Two to three images that he would include on his page
  • A list of other organizations or ideas that match his interests
  • Four comments related to the Protestant Reformation or the Catholic Reformation that other people might leave on his page

You can design your social networking profile page to mimic your favorite social networking website, or you can design your own webpage layout. Remember, this webpage will be used by Martin Luther to attract followers to his cause, so be creative! Before you begin, access the Martin Luther Social Networking Profile Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit.
