The Future of Exploration

collageArtist iconNow that you have learned about some of NASA's current and future missions, create a collage to demonstrate your knowledge. Your collage should include overlapping images and words that address some of the missions that you studied in this topic, along with any missions that interest you from the the NASA Missions website. You should make sure to feature at least eight to ten missions on your collage.

Your collage should be creative, informative, accurate, and well-organized. Before you begin, access the Current and Future Missions Collage Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit. You will need to use resources outside of this course to complete this assignment, so please submit a Works Cited document with your assignment submission. If you need assistance, visit the Developmental Module for information on citing any resources that you use.

Options to create your collage include the following:

  1. Cut out images from magazines, newspapers, and other forms of print media to assemble your collage, and then scan it for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.

  3. Utilize digital images and a word-processing, presentation, paint, or graphics program to assemble your collage, and then submit your collage to the assignment's dropbox.
  4. Use an online collage creator and follow prompts provided by the website to create and name your collage. When you have completed your collage you can print it and then scan it or photograph it for submission to the assignment's dropbox.
  5. Use a mobile or computer-based application to create your collage and email or export the final product for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.
