If you choose to create a model of primary succession, you should also include a short description of how the process differs from secondary succession. If you choose to create a model of secondary succession, you should also include a short description of how the process differs from primary succession.

Your model should be creative, informative, and accurate. Make sure that your model is well-designed and that all labels are legible. Before you begin, access the Primary or Secondary Succession Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit. You will need to use resources outside of this course to complete this assignment, so please submit a Works Cited document with your assignment submission. Options to create your model include the following:

  1. Utilize household or crafting items to create the succession model, and then take a picture of it for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.
  2. Utilize three-dimensional modeling software to create the succession model, and then submit your model to the assignment's dropbox.
