Gas Stoichiometry

Process ImageYou already have the skills to complete stoichiometry and thermostoichiometry problems. Now, you will learn how to use the ideal gas law to solve stoichiometry problems that involve gases. By adding the ideal gas law, stoichiometry problems can be solved for reactions that occur at any temperature and pressure. These reactions no longer have to occur at standard temperature and pressure (STP). In this activity, click on each of the steps to view how a sample problem uses stoichiometry and the Ideal Gas Law to find a solution.
