Accessing Reliable Information

Think IconBefore you explore all of the different sources of financial information and learn how to evaluate them for reliability, consider the following questions:

  • What source(s) do you use to get financial information? Do you use the internet, or TV, or maybe a financial institution like your bank?
  • Who is the author of the information?
  • What are the motivations for that source providing information to you?
  • What makes you trust that source?
