Intertextual Connections

Looking at the origin of something or seeing those connections can help give you deeper understanding. This is called making intertextual (text-to-text) connections, or connections between the form, content, theme, or even purpose of two unique pieces of work. You are going to look at a piece of poetry in this final topic for Module Six that ties to Things Fall Apart. This intertextual connection will deepen your understanding of Chinua Achebe’s theme of Imperialism/Colonization.
