Lord of the Flies, Chapter Seven

  • Fear is powerful
  • Thinking through all decisions is important
  • People tend to abuse power
  • People have an inner savagery
  • Morals are derived from their surroundings
  • People have the tendency to degrade others for their own prosperity
  • Society has the ability to hold everyone together

Remembering the lessons from these themes will help you on your own journey to self-discovery. Perhaps one day you will be in a position of power and you will remember to be fair and just.
