Take a moment to think about a single event of your life that is memorable to you and translate that recollection into a poem.

Your memoir poem can have a defined rhyme scheme, meter, or structure if you feel that is the best form for your poem, but you are welcome to experiment with free verse or other creative elements. Before you begin, review the Memoir Poem Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit.
