Before you began this topic, you may not have been familiar with the seven coordinating conjunctions for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so. However, through your close examination of the meaning and usage of these coordinators, you should now be able to not only identify but also incorporate coordinating conjunctions correctly in original sentences.
To demonstrate your knowledge of coordinating conjunctions, compose seven original sentences that use coordinating conjunctions to link words, phrases, or clauses. You must use each of the seven coordinators correctly. For each sentence, underline the grammatical elements (words, phrases, or clauses) that are linked by the coordinating conjunction in the sentence. Observe the example sentence below.
Tisha purchased shoes and socks.
