Expository Nonfiction

television showJournal iconAs you will discover in this topic, one type of expository writing is compare and contrast. This type of nonfiction informs the reader by analyzing the similarities and differences between two different topics or items. Before you learn more, choose two of your favorite songs, television programs, books, or games.

Take some time to think about your choices. Then, create a journal entry in which you state at least two similarities and two differences between them. If you need assistance on writing a journal entry, please visit the Developmental Module for more information.

Once you have completed your journal entry, please save it with a file name of mod8_comparecontrast and submit it to the journal dropbox.
