Communicable Diseases Web Page

Using the knowledge you gained from this topic, design a web page about a communicable disease. The web page should feature the name of the communicable disease, specific facts about the disease, and ways to prevent the disease. Your web page layout can be a mock-up or design document; it does not need to be a fully functioning web page.

The web page should be age-appropriate for other high school students. It should include both text and graphics, as well as proposed links to other websites. The web page should be well organized and representative of what you think a real web page about a communicable disease would look like.

Options for creating your web page include:

  1. Hand-draw the assignment and then take a picture of it for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.
  2. Hand-draw the assignment and then scan it for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.
  3. Create a new file in a paint or graphics program and utilize the software to create an image. You can then submit your work to the assignment’s dropbox.
  4. Create an actual HTML document in a web editing software program and utilize the software to create your web page. You can then take a screen shot of your web page or submit the actual HTML document.
