Economic Rights and Regulations
In the United States, citizens enjoy a lot of economic freedoms, like the right to earn an income and to spend it on goods and services of their choice. However, the government does place certain limitations on these freedoms. For example, the federal government places restrictions on work schedules of individuals under 18 years old, and allows only individuals 21 years old or older to purchase alcohol.
Do you think that the government should place restrictions on how you can earn and spend your money? Why or why not?
