The American Constitution
Martina and Terrence visit the Supreme Court
Martina and Terrence have learned a great deal about how the supreme law of the land, the Constitution, was developed after the Article of Confederation failed to give the nation a solid foundation. The two travelers learned about the Connecticut and Three-Fifths Compromises, and the Virginia Plan. These agreements helped form the three branches of the United States government. Now, Terrence and Martina will continue along their journey to truly understand why rules and structure are needed. They are going to understand the documents that shaped Virginia, as well as the Bill of Rights.
