The Virginia Documents and the Bill of Rights

Now that you have explored the Bill of Rights, create a comic strip that demonstrates your understanding of two of the amendments. The plot of your comic strip should answer the following questions:

  • What amendments have you used for your comic strip?
  • What are the people in the cartoon doing to represent the amendments?
  • What are some of the impacts that would have occurred without the addition of each amendment?
  • Is there any additional change needed for each amendment?

Make sure to be creative and informative when creating your comic. Your comic should include a least six panels, or individual stages. It should be organized so that a reader can understand the events unfolding in the comic, and all text should be legible and clearly-marked.

Before you begin, access the Bill of Rights Comic Strip Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit.
