GEOTREX Selfie Series

GEOTREX is planning to announce your internship on social media. As part of your introduction to its online community, the company wants you to create or find a series of images to post on its social media pages. Each of these images should highlight one of the major landforms and water features that you explored in this topic. You can capture these images by taking a photograph of a location in your local community, or you can search the internet for images of places that you would like to visit and use those to build your image series.

For each of the images, include a caption with each image containing the following information:

  1. A description of the landform or water feature;
  2. A description of the landform or water feature's location;
  3. Appropriate geographical term(s) used to describe the landform or water feature; and
  4. A brief description of how the landform or water feature formed.

For example, the picture shown above could be captioned:

We are excited to introduce Mandy, our new GEOTREX intern. Here is a picture of Mandy visiting Lac Monroe, which is located in Mont-Tremblant National Park, Quebec, Canada. This region is filled with various lakes, rivers, and basins that were formed when a massive glacier eroded the soil. #GEOTREX #WelcomeMandy #LacMonroe
