WWI Outcomes and Global Effects

Application iconImage of the Treaty of VersaillesImagine that you are part of President Wilson's team that is working on the Treaty of Versailles. France, Britain, and Italy have just put their final touches on their proposed treaty and have sent it to President Wilson to make his final edits. President Wilson has given you the task of looking through the document for any problematic terms, or items that run counter to his idealistic vision. Your job is to lay out three potential problems in the treaty that you think will hinder President Wilson's goal of long-lasting peace. Since you are going to deliver your analysis to President Wilson in person, create a visual representation of these three potential problems. Make sure that your graphic shows cause and effect for each of the items. The visual representation can compile all three issues onto one work, or the issues can be separated out into different graphics.

Be creative and use your graphic to sway President Wilson's opinion. The future of Europe depends on you! Before you begin, access the Treaty of Versailles Graphic Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit. You may need to use resources outside of this course to complete this assignment. If so, please submit a Works Cited document. If you need assistance, visit the Developmental Module for information on citing any resources that you used.
