Eclipses

invitationPretend that an eclipse is occurring and you want to celebrate it with an eclipse-viewing party! Since you are the host for this party, you need to provide all the details to your guests as to the date, time, location, and special instructions for attending your party and watching the eclipse.

You can choose an eclipse that can be viewed from where you live now or in another place around the world (maybe your dream vacation spot!). Once you find an actual predicted eclipse for your party, include the following on your invitation:

  • The date and time of the party - it should begin when the eclipse starts and end when the eclipse is over
  • The location of viewing party
  • The type of eclipse
  • Whether the eclipse is a partial or total eclipse
  • A brief description of the type of eclipse that your guests will see; explain to them what they can expect to see and how the eclipse is formed
  • Any special instructions and guidelines for viewing the eclipse
