For this assignment, you will complete the Composition of Minerals Graphic Organizer for several common minerals. In each of the circles on the organizer, you will need to place the minerals listed below next to their correct classification. In addition, you will need to list the elements found within the mineral. Finally, you will need to draw an arrow from the mineral’s circle to the appropriate classification.
In order to help you find the correct information for each of these minerals, access the Mineralogical Society of America’s Handbook of Mineralogy. This website contains links to information documents for 3960 different minerals. Search for each of the following minerals to complete the graphic organizer.
