Organizer IconMinerals have definite compositions and are classified into different groups based on these compositions. For this assignment, you will complete the Composition of Minerals Graphic Organizer for several common minerals. In each of the circles on the organizer, you will need to place the minerals listed below next to their correct classification. In addition, you will need to list the elements found within the mineral. Finally, you will need to draw an arrow from the mineral’s circle to the appropriate classification.

This website contains links to information documents for 3960 different minerals. Search for each of the following minerals to complete the graphic organizer.

Options to complete your graphic organizer include the following:

  1. Use the template to hand-draw the assignment and then take a picture of it for submission to the assignment’s dropbox.
