Writing Focus - Theme Analysis

In Oedipus the King/Oedipus Rex, you were able to explore various themes based on the actions of the characters and the movement of the plot.  As you move from reading literary text to analyzing literary text, one element that aids in extracting a deeper meaning is theme.  Theme allows you to go beyond the surface and make connections.  In this topic, you will focus on moving from a theme subject, to a thematic statement, and ultimately creating a theme analysis.
