Lord of the Flies, Chapter One

silhouetteWhenever a group of people get together for the first time, the people within that group tend to take on specific roles.  Some are natural leaders while others tend to be followers.  Some people can get along well with everyone, while others seem to always feel left out of the group.  When you read this chapter, you will begin to discover the group dynamics that affect the boys on the island, and you will learn what that says about each boy’s personality.
