Once you have proofread the revised draft of your paper and made corrections for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and usage, you will submit your edited paper to your instructor, who will then distribute it to a coursemate for a peer review. You will also receive a peer's rough draft so that you can practice reading and giving constructive feedback. Remember that your comments should be constructive in nature, identifying errors in language as well as offering suggestions to correct any mistakes. It is recommended that you review beginning with the revising step before focusing on the editing step.
Before you begin, review the Critical Review Guide to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit. Also, use the checklist as a guide for making comments on your peer's draft.
First, complete and submit your edited draft to the dropbox. Once you have done that, your instructor will notify you as to how you will receive your peer's draft. After making comments on your peer's draft, please submit your peer review to the dropbox.
