Research Writing Topic – Revising and Editing

In this topic, you will learn some strategies for revising your paper in order to make sure that it works as a whole. After making adjustments to the "big picture," you will look at the finer details regarding spelling, grammar, punctuation, and usage. The best thing about revising and editing your research paper is that you do no have to do it alone. You will have the chance to receive feedback from your instructor and a peer reviewer, who will offer suggestions for improvement. In the next topic, you will have an opportunity to consider all of the feedback and apply necessary changes to your paper. However, you must first offer a peer review in exchange for the feedback on your paper. By the time you finish this topic, you will have revised and edited at least two research papers.
