You have almost reached the emotional resolution of the play. In Act IV of Romeo and Juliet, you saw how Juliet's soliloquy from Act IV really sets the stage for the coming scenes and how it foreshadows events to come in the next act. You also have experienced the suspense of the dramatic irony sprinkled throughout the entire play. Furthermore, while you know how the play ends, there are still many things that could still go wrong at this point. Juliet is being put in the tomb, and Romeo is supposed to get a letter that fills him in on the plan. Will he get the letter on time? Will he get it at all? Will Juliet wake up as planned? Will the plan be discovered?
