How Are You?
An avatar is a small graphic that represents someone in a computerized version. For this application, create two avatars. They can depict you or someone you know, or be completely original.
Once you have created your avatars, use them to generate a conversation that describes them meeting for the first time. The discussion should reveal each avatar's name, age, and information about how he or she is feeling today. The entire conversation must be in French, and must include two common French gestures as indicated by parentheses next to corresponding sentences. An example of part of a conversation is represented in the picture above.
Options to create your avatar include the following:
- Hand draw your avatar, and then take a picture of it for submission into the assignment's dropbox.
- Hand draw your avatar, and then scan it for submission into the assignment's dropbox.
- Use a paint, graphics, word processing, or other type of software to design your avatar, and then submit it into the assignment's dropbox.
Before you begin, access the Avatar Conversation Checklist to make sure you include all items required for full credit.
Once you have completed the assignment, please submit your work to the dropbox.
