For example, Québec has publicly funded schools that teach students French and English. In many of these schools, students are taught both French and English as first languages.

Imagine what it would be like to live in an official bilingual culture. How would your life be different if you were raised to speak two languages? If you did grow up speaking more than one language, how has that impacted your life? What are some of the positive and/or negative aspects of a bilingual culture?
