Exercises for Positive Self-Image

JoggingExercise is a great way to develop a positive self-image. Weight training is an excellent example of an exercise to help your body look and feel good by developing more muscle, especially lean muscle, and decreasing fat. With weight lifting, you will have to set goals. You will need to determine whether you want to increase the size of your muscle or create lean muscle. To increase muscle size, train with heavier weights, and complete 8 to 10 repetitions. To develop lean muscle, train with a little lighter weight and complete 12 to 15 repetitions.

Another great way to increase your self-image is to perform cardiovascular exercises. These are the exercises that help you burn fat and look lean. Some examples of cardio exercise include step aerobics, running, jogging, or playing basketball. These exercises get your heart rate pumping.

If you create a program consisting of weight training and cardio exercises at least five days a week, you will look and feel great in no time. Remember to always have a rest day; your body will need time to recover from hard workouts.

Help Motivate

Even if you have a great self-image, not everyone is an expert when it comes to physical fitness. In fact, many people struggle when doing physical activities. In cases like this, try to be encouraging and motivating. You can even offer to help or become a work-out partner. Always remember to have fun and be respectful.

  • Be polite and respectful.
  • Offer assistance if needed.
  • Communicate.
  • Try to include everyone.
