Pretend that you are the advice columnist for your school newspaper. Your job entails helping students deal with crisis situations by giving sound advice. Imagine that a freshman in your high school has written to you for advice on how to handle a crisis. Specifically, choose a crisis situation from the list below, and write an advice column that details tips to follow during the crisis, that will also help the student prevent injury.
Your response column should be well-organized, personalized, and sensitive to the individual's feelings. Before you begin, access the Crisis Management and Injury Prevention Column Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit. You may need to conduct research for statistics or other information to include in your note, and you will need to properly cite any external resources that you use in a Works Cited document. If you need assistance, visit the Developmental Module for information on citing any resources that you used.
Once you complete your advice column, please submit your work to the dropbox.
