Microblogs are social networking services that allow people to create mini-blog posts of up to 140 characters in length. Companies, celebrities, and politicians use microblogs to keep "followers" up to date on important events and news, but anyone can create a microblog account to communicate the events and news going on in his or her life. An example set of three microblog posts is:
Going to the store to get a snack and brother wants to come. Could get something sweet or nutritious. Sweets might set bad example.
At store in candy aisle – brother wants fruit and he’s probably right. Going to grab some grapes.
Grapes were a great choice. I need to remember this for the next snack time! #CleanEating
For this assignment, you will need to create a short collection of three to five microblog posts that show you or someone else making a decision using the six steps in the decision-making model. As modeled in the example above, these posts do not have to be complete sentences, but they should be complete thoughts. Your microblog posting should appeal to a teen audience and use appropriate language.
Before you begin, access the Decision-Making Microblog Checklist to make sure that you include all of the items required for full credit.
