Sleeping and Dreaming
Sleep Journal
Are you taking care of yourself by getting the proper amount of sleep? Do you have good sleep habits?
To gauge this more accurately, you will track your sleeping habits for seven days. Each day, you will note your habits in a sleep journal that you should keep by your bed. To ensure you recall events such as sleep quality and dreams, complete the entries in your sleep journal as soon as you wake up. Each morning, you must fill out the chart completely. Take a moment to access your Sleep Journal and learn about the types of questions you must answer.
After you have completed the sleep journal, analyze it for patterns or potential problems you identify about your sleep. Write a short paragraph explaining your analysis. For example, did you find a connection between the number of hours you slept and how you felt the next day? What effects do caffeine, exercise, or prior bedtime activities have on your quality of sleep? Identify and discuss at least four patterns.
Before you begin the assignment, review the Sleep Journal Rubric to help you complete your assignment and understand how your work will be graded.
Once you have completed your Sleep Journal and analysis, please submit your work to the dropbox.
