Do you remember the first Ten Amendments in the Constitution, which protect individual rights? You will also need to describe a Supreme Court case in which those five Amendments were protected. Make sure to include the name and date that the case took place. Below is a list of the first Ten Amendments:

  • First Amendment - Freedom of speech, press, religion, peaceable assembly, and to petition the government
  • Second Amendment - Right for the people to keep and bear arms, as well as to maintain a militia
