Survivor Interview

You've been introduced to some of the atrocities that have occurred as a result of genocide. However, the horror and pain takes on an even deeper meaning through the stories of survivors.

Now select one account to create five interview questions that you would ask a survivor. While creating your interview questions, please use the following guidelines:

  • Your interview questions should allow for a survivor to recount what happened to them, their family and or friends.
  • Your interview questions should be open-ended in nature and encourage the survivor to describe the impact of the genocide on them personally and the impact it should have on the rest of the world.
  • Your interview questions should be clearly written but can be personalized as if you are the interviewer.

You may design the layout of your interview however you would like, but it should only be one page in length. Remember, survivors of genocide have faced traumatic conditions in their lives. Your interview questions should be sensitive to the survivor's life story. If outside resources are used to complete this assignment, please submit a Works Cited document.
