Dimensional Analysis

Dimensional analysis is a mathematical rearrangement of proportions or ratios that allows for several conversions without multiple steps. Before long, you will be performing complicated conversions of data in this course, and dimensional analysis will make this process much easier. The problems you explored in this topic were certainly solvable using very simple ratios. In fact, some of these problems were simple enough to do mentally. However, as this course progresses, the numbers, units, and data that need to be manipulated become much more complicated.
