Revising and Editing

lightning bug and light[T]he difference between the almost right word and the right word is really a large matter—'tis the difference between the lightning-bug and the lightning.

— Mark Twain, quoted in The Art of Authorship

Revising and editing your persuasive research paper allows you to polish your paper before you submit it to your instructor. Revising your writing is like fine-tuning a recipe. You may need to add information or delete a confusing part just like you may need to add additional ingredients or possibly take some away to make your recipe taste just right. Revision and editing will give your research paper what is needed to truly make it effective and persuasive.
