Playing catchYou can also modify sports like basketball, soccer, and volleyball to play them one-on-one. Similarly, you and a partner can play catch with a Frisbee, baseball, football, or lacrosse ball, or enjoy activities like boating, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and sailing.

When you play a sport with a partner, you must consider various factors. For instance, make sure you learn the rules of the game or sport, and respect the facility you are using, equipment needed to play, and your partner. Also, determine whether you and your partner have the same level of experience, knowledge, and skill level with the sport. If these factors vary between the two of you, encourage one another, and help each other learn. If you find yourself more knowledgeable and experienced than you partner, use good leadership skills to help you both succeed.
