Rest is just as important for your overall health as exercise is. If your body is not getting the rest that it needs, you may be at risk for becoming fatigued. When you reach the point of fatigue, you are completely exhausted mentally and/or physically.

You have learned the consequences of fatigue, as well as many factors that can attribute to fatigue, such as lack of sleep, overdoing your daily tasks, not getting enough exercise, or exercising too much. There are several ways to help avoid or recover from fatigue, such as getting adequate rest, eating a healthy diet, exercising, and avoiding alcohol, tobacco and drug use. Next time you are feeling exhausted, listen to your body and get some rest.
