For this activity, you will have that opportunity by creating a public awareness pamphlet that outlines the risks of one of the drugs you learned about in the content section of this topic. Specifically, you will research information about your chosen drug through the National Institute on Drug Abuse website.

When creating your pamphlet, keep in mind your goal involves convincing readers about the short-term and long-term dangers of the drug you choose to highlight.

Your pamphlet should have creative elements and include all of the below components:

  • Minimum of one appropriate visual
  • Your name at the bottom

  • Inform readers of physical effects from the drug
  • Minimum of one appropriate visual
Page 2
  • Inform readers of psychological and social consequences from the drug
  • Minimum of one appropriate visual
Page 3
  • Minimum of one accurate statistic related to the drug

You may create your pamphlet using publishing, word processing, or presentation software, or create it by hand..
